Delingha is situated on the northeastern edge of the Qaidam Basin, with the Bayin River flowing through the city, nurturing a precious oasis and creating a unique landscape where urban scenery harmonizes with nature. Originating from the Qilian Mountains, the Bayin River meanders down from the Cypress Mountains, not only bringing the source of life but also painting a picturesque urban landscape. The city is surrounded by vast expanses of desert and rolling mountains, with Lake Keluke and Lake Toson to the west—one freshwater, one saline—like two dazzling pearls embedded in the desert, forming the romantic "Lover Lakes" scenery.
