Crossing Time and Beauty A Day at He Long Bridge

We recently visited Helong Bridge in Sichuan Province, and I must say it was even more beautiful than I imagined. The bridge sits in the middle of a valley, surrounded by towering mountains and a river flowing below. The breeze was always cool.
We chose to go early in the morning to see the low mist covering the mountaintops. As the sun began to rise, the mist cleared, leaving a beautiful light falling on the bridge. It was perfect for taking photos, and there were also some great angles for capturing the beautiful skyline.
Regarding opening and closing times, we asked a local. They said it usually opens around 8 AM and closes around 5-6 PM in the evening, as the evening winds are strong and the weather changes quickly. If you arrive too late, you might not be able to fully enjoy the view. We recommend going early to enjoy both the misty scenery and the leisurely stroll and photography.
Our tips:
- Wear a windbreaker, as the bridge is always windy.
- Comfortable walking shoes, as some areas are slippery in fog or rain.
- Have your camera or phone ready to take photos, as every angle is truly a postcard. Don't forget to allow time to walk back before the bridge closes.
This is another place I highly recommend if you're in Sichuan and have time. You won't be disappointed.
