2️⃣ Accommodation booking: Yeyu has only 10 rooms! Book 3 months in advance during peak season, or grab last-minute vacancies (that’s how I got lucky!);

3️⃣ Gear checklist: Windproof jacket (cold even in summer), non-slip shoes (essential in rainy/snowy seasons), sunglasses (to prevent snow blindness);

4️⃣ Food: Guesthouse provides meals (Tibetan/Sichuan cuisine), you can also bring snacks (village has few small supermarkets);

5️⃣ Respect customs: Yubeng is a Tibetan area, do not step on prayer flags or take photos of locals without permission, carry out all your trash~
