| Hidden West 39 Homestay. 🌳 In the hustle and bustle of life, we all long for a place to unwind. This time, I ventured to Moganshan and stayed at the legendary Hidden West 39 Boutique Homestay, which truly gave me an unforgettable retreat!

📍 Located at No. 39 Yaojia, Xicenwu, Duihekou Village, Wukang, Deqing County, Huzhou City, the homestay is nestled in a secluded mountain valley surrounded by endless bamboo forests. The pristine natural environment instantly makes you feel like all your stress has vanished into thin air.

🏠 The homestay consists of two buildings: the Water Courtyard and the Mountain Courtyard. The Water Courtyard is a two-story cottage built by the water, easily found along the village path. The first floor houses the reception and a stylishly designed communal space with industrial aesthetics and warm yellow lighting. The second floor features guest rooms, and behind the common area, you’ll find a charming little garden meticulously crafted by the hostess—perfect for sipping tea, petting cats, or snapping photos. The Mountain Courtyard is a three-tiered cascading building with nine rooms and a swimming pool, ideal for summer fun. The rooms are simply yet elegantly decorated, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the lush mountain views indoors. Some rooms even come with outdoor bathtubs or tatami mats for ultimate comfort. The most popular tatami room, "Celestial Blue," boasts three fully transparent walls—be sure to book it in advance!

🍽 The food here is locally sourced. The homemade snacks prepared by the auntie evoke childhood flavors, and the slow-cooked free-range chicken soup with fresh bamboo shoots is rich and unforgettable. Don’t miss the crispy and savory mugwort cakes stuffed with preserved vegetable and pork—absolutely delicious!

🎈 The homestay offers plenty of activities. Enjoy afternoon tea at the 270° bamboo-surrounded sky café, immerse yourself in the aroma of bamboo, or join a DIY wildflower mosquito-repellent bouquet workshop to take a piece of the mountain’s fragrance home. Hiking enthusiasts can explore the ancient trails and bamboo forests.

🚗 For transportation, driving is recommended as the homestay is quite far from the scenic area. If taking the high-speed train, you can rent a car in Hangzhou or arrive at Deqing West Station, from which it’s about a 30-minute drive to the homestay.
