Doha | I think I've stayed at the most punk Banyan Tree ever

As expected from Doha, Qatar, a place teeming with luxury hotels, there are always surprises. Who could have imagined that Banyan Tree could embrace a dark, magical style?

Upon entering the lobby, I felt like I had stepped into a magical tree hollow. A gigantic, metallic banyan tree stretches from floor to ceiling, filling the entire lobby. This is a whole new image of Banyan Tree for me. On both sides are huge red and blue screens, which I call "A Song of Ice and Fire."

🏨 Location
Located in the heart of Doha, it's close to Souq Waqif and the Museum of Islamic Art, just a 10-minute drive away. There's a shopping mall downstairs, making it convenient for shopping and dining. The central open space and rooftop are covered with lush greenery, creating an urban oasis.

🛏 Room Type
Despite the metallic and punk lobby, the rooms are as comfortable as ever! I stayed in a suite with a huge living room that could accommodate a dining table and a desk in addition to a full set of sofas. The living room also has its own bathroom and 270-degree city views with excellent natural light. The bedroom's color scheme has an Arabian feel, and the extensive velvet decoration adds a touch of luxury. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and a walk-in shower🛀. The clever use of mirrors throughout the room makes it feel even more spacious.

❤️ Banyan Tree Spa
The Banyan Tree Spa in Doha is a must-try! You can choose your own spa treatments and essential oils. The spa has a tranquil atmosphere, and the massage beds even have a heating function, adding to the comfort. The masseuse was very professional, and after the spa, I felt refreshed and rejuvenated.

🍱 Dining
The hotel has five restaurants and bars, making it a foodie's paradise! I visited during Ramadan, so not all the restaurants were open. Saffron, located on the 24th floor, is a must-try❗️It offers authentic Thai cuisine, a delight for Asian palates. During Ramadan, there's also a special Ramadan set menu for 120 QAR per person, which is a great value. During Ramadan, breakfast is served at the Italian restaurant on the 27th floor, offering 360-degree views of Doha. Enjoying breakfast with such stunning views is truly fantastic.

PS: The room is equipped with a full set of Banyan Tree's own brand toiletries. The comb and razor are excellent and worth taking home. Doha, Qatar
