West of Hainan

Location: Dongfang, Hainan island.

Getting there: Take the train from Sanya or Haikou and reach the western most part of Hainan island.

Name: Dongfang city. This is the less known west part of Hainan. Not too far from Haikou and Sanya, but not touristy. There is a nice beach or two near the city and you can enjoy sweeping views of the rocks and lighthouse.

Worth visiting to see a different China.
