1 Day From Chengdu to Dujiangyan

08:00 AM: Today, we woke up a bit late, had breakfast, and left the accommodation around 10:00 AM.

10:00 AM: We then went to buy high-speed train tickets for the 11:00 AM train from Chengdu Xipu Station (犀浦) to Dujiangyan (都江堰). The journey takes about 20 minutes, but the seats were fully booked, so we had to stand for the 20-minute ride.

11:30 AM: We arrived at Dujiangyan Station (都江堰) and took a taxi to the Zhongshuge Bookstore (都江堰钟书阁) located on the 2nd floor of the Rongchuangmao Mall (融创茂店). It's easy to find; just go up to the 2nd floor and look around. The mall has a good selection of clothes, especially winter wear, at reasonable prices.

13:00 PM: We spent about an hour walking around and taking photos in the bookstore. There are many photo spots, especially the spiral staircase, but you might have to wait in line for a bit. After taking photos, if you're hungry, you can find something to eat in the mall. Then, we took a taxi to Nanqiao Bridge (南桥).

15:00 PM: We strolled around the ancient market, bought some local food and snacks, and in the evening, we walked around the bridge and the dam, enjoying the night lights. Many people were dressed in traditional Chinese clothing, taking photos.

19:00 PM: We took a taxi from Nanqiao Bridge back to Dujiangyan Station (都江堰) and took the high-speed train back to Chengdu.
