Mount Qingcheng (Qīngchéng Shān) is a sacred Taoist mountain and UNESCO World Heritage Site located near the city of Chengdu in Sichuan, China. Famous for its lush, green forests and tranquil atmosphere, it is widely considered one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China. The mountain is divided into two distinct scenic areas, each offering a different experience:
The Front Mountain (Qian Shan): This is the heart of Qingcheng's cultural and historical significance. It features the mountain's most famous Taoist temples and historical sites, including Jianfu Palace and Tianshi Celestial Cave.
