From the moment you walk in, you get cozy vibes: rustic decor, friendly staff who clearly care, and the hum of brew in progress. Their menu features genuine Ukrainian comfort food, think varenyky (dumplings), deruny, nalysnyky, cheburek, and hearty borshch all made with attention to authenticity. They even brew their own beer on site (Boodmo Brewery), which makes the dining experience feel even more local and personal.
My husband is Ukrainian, so he was really excited to try this restaurant when we were in Palawan and it did not disappoint. The food was so good that we ended up having dinner there twice during our stay. Expect prices around ₱250-₱400 per dish not the cheapest, but definitely worth it for the portion size, quality, and unique experience. The restaurant is also vegetarian-friendly, and many visitors rave about the warm, attentive service. If you’re in El Nido and craving something different, Odessa Mama is the perfect spot. A mix of comfort, authentic flavor, and character.
