This time we introduce a restaurant located on the cliffs of Enoshima
I've been interested in watching "Lonely Foodie" for a while. I saw him introducing this one, so I had a trendy mentality. Let's go and try it to see if it's really that delicious🙊

Because we only accept on-site reservation queues, I waited for an hour and a half to get there that day ( ́・_・`)
But fortunately there is a temple and Dragon Love Bell nearby where you can pray and draw lots to try your luck😗
Or bored can go down the stairs near the restaurant to see the special rocky coast formed by seawater erosion is great 👍🏻

The Umitei storefront space is very large and should be able to accommodate a hundred people at a time. There are tatami seating indoors and there are also general Western-style seating but if you want a sea view seat you really have to wait

The weather was not very good that day (it was nice to see Mount Fuji🥲🗻) but we saw the beautiful Hakone coastline

➺しらすハーフ Don Set (Half-cooked Kiss Fish Don) ¥1111

The kissing fish can be said to be a specialty of Enoshima. It will definitely have its appearance in some restaurants throughout the island
Never had kissing fish and it was limited to daily so I immediately decided to get one
The first time to eat raw kissing fish feels magical smooth and soft a d fishy, salty taste does not bring a little freshness
Can be served with ginger puree, ginger slices, seven-spice powder, soy sauce
Overall quite good but not a must 😗

➺ Enoshima Beer ¥600

The palate is very smooth and not too much bitter beer

summary:

The food was good but not super good would give 6-7/10
But if it's a good day indeed looking at the whole sea + Mount Fuji is nice
Whether it's worth waiting for so long is up to you 😗
There are quite a few eagles that will hover in the sky looking for prey to eat and may also be careful to be picked off accidentally

Just sharing one of my favorite spots from my recent Tokyo trip—a restaurant perched on the cliffs of Enoshima! I first saw it on "Solitary Gourmet" and knew I had to try it🙊

因为他们只接受walk-in，所以大概等了1.5小时(´･_･`)。
But the area is worth exploring—there’s a temple, the “Lover’s Bell” for luck, and unique eroded rock formations along the coast 👍🏻

餐厅宽敞（可容纳100+人），有榻榻米，座位固定，海景景点时间较长，但等待是值得的！
可惜天气不太好—晴天的时候，可以看到富士山🥲🗻—但海岸线还是很惊艳。

➺ Shirasu Half-Don Set (Half-raw whitebait bowl) ¥1111
银鱼是江之岛当地的特产——每家餐厅都有！
这是我第一次尝试生银鱼：滑嫩，无腥味，微甜。
配上姜、辣椒粉、酱油。
Good but not mind-blowing—6.5/10 😗

➺ Enoshima Beer ¥600
Smooth, easy-to-drink beer with minimal bitterness 🍺
