I thought the Hundred Miles Sky Road was already stunning until I visited this place

Never expected to discover this hidden gem during my two-day trip to Fengning Bashang!
While everyone knows about the Hundred Miles Sky Road and Cloud Prairie,
Yangchang River Wetland Park is often overlooked by most visitors.
Here lies Bashang's largest forest flower field.
Unlike other self-driving scenic areas,
the first half allows flexible driving with stops for camping at preferred spots,
while the second half transitions to a wooden boardwalk for hiking through a fairytale forest 🌸

🌲｜About This Place
🔸The self-driving section features newly paved roads—smooth and easy. Drive to the circular section at the end where a small pavilion marks the parking spot.
🔸Enter the boardwalk beside the pavilion. Flanked by forests and wildflowers, the flat path is suitable for all ages—no worries about fatigue.
🔸Duration: ~2 hours. Perfect for relaxing after a grassland drive.
🔸Yangchang River Wetland Park has 4 zones:
East Zone (Yangchang River Valley): Wet meadows & boardwalk
West Zone (Golden Lotus Lake): Natural golden lotus flowers & unique "human-head mounds"
South Zone (Golden Dew Meadow): Golden dew shrubs
North Zone (Hundred Flower Garden): Wetlands, boardwalks, shrubs, and artificial flower fields

📝Extra Tips
✅Plenty of trees provide shade—rest spots abound.
✅Compact size (~2-3 hours to explore) with few visitors—ample space for camping or picnics.
✅The boardwalk is lined with diverse flora (nature’s encyclopedia!) + open lawns for kids to play.
✅Bring a jacket—large temperature swings between day/night.
✅Restroom 🚻 at the boardwalk entrance pavilion.
