Spring Trip to Europe – A Time When My Heart Bloomed First

This spring, after a long winter, I embarked on my first trip to Europe, visiting Rome and Cinque Terre. The streets adorned with spring blossoms and the warm sunlight made simply walking around a delightful experience.

In Rome, I started at the Duomo (Santa Maria Maggiore) and strolled through ancient ruins. The morning sunlight streaming into the cathedral, the sound of footsteps on the stone pavement, and the moments of rest on a bench by a fountain—all felt like scenes from a movie.

Cinque Terre was a world of its own. Houses clinging to cliffs, the blue sea, and a slow-moving train. The sunset I witnessed during a trek in Manarola was unforgettable, and in the quiet Corniglia, all I could hear was the sound of the spring breeze.

This trip wasn’t about any specific purpose; it was simply to ‘feel the season.’ And that purpose was fully achieved. It was a spring where my heart bloomed as well.
