My first Frankfurt trip! Wasn’t sure of what to exactly expect out of the trip but was found as one of “the” best scenic trips I’ve visited so far.

1. Went into the #Römerberg square and immediately felt myself immerse myself into a vibe of 19th century Frankfurt – almost like magic. The old brick styled buildings with vibrant colors, antique water fountain in the middle and bustling activities in every corner of the circus made it feel like I synced with a part of this area’s history. Why budget? It doesn’t cost a dime to visit and look around. Truly magical 🪄

2. Afterwards I walked over to the #ironfootbridge, and even the weather blessed upon my journey as I captured the breathtaking view of the river to the stretch of pavement and greens. Looking at the locals relax and enjoy each other’s company on a picnic in the greens, and the ducks busy with – whatever they were doing – truly delivered a sense of serenity that I’ve never experienced elsewhere. Another budget, no cost involved 🆓

3. My next stop was taking a visit at the #senckenbergnaturemuseum, was about 18 Euros (first spending) which you can purchase directly at the reception counter. Definitely worth it, full of preserved figures of all sorts of living organisms – ranging from our favourite dino, extinct birds and animals to the modern-day beings. There was a section for science experiments accompanied by a quiz, which I will not spoil for you to try out ⁉️

4. Can’t be a good trip without taking a piece of the local cuisine! We visited #adolfwagner, an authentic local restaurant with exquisite flavors and exceptional service from the staffs. We ordered the famous local delights – schnitzel (fried thin pork), schweinshaxe (German pork knuckle) and bratwurst (German sausages). Not only these main dishes were prominent, what surprised me were the mashed potatoes and grilled potatoes – simply the best I’ve had so far. The finest mashed potatoes and grilled potatoes with that pinch of “fire” flavor embodied within them. The restaurant was affordable yet presented the best standard German delight you’ll ever need to taste 😋
