The general way to reach Mount Fuji is by bus or JR. We bought a JR pass and chose to take the JR. We arrived in Otsuki and transferred to the Fuji Express to Kawaguchiko.

I have seen many guides that recommend visiting Mount Fuji in one day. I think that will not be very tiring, and Mount Fuji is a place worth visiting. So my most recommended way to visit is to ride a bike around the lake. You can stop at any time to enjoy the scenery, which will give you a different experience of Mount Fuji.

The rental price is generally 2500JPY per day. It is recommended to rent an electric assisted bicycle. The rental time of the one I rented is 9 o'clock and the car can be returned before 18 o'clock.

⛩Although the scenery along the way is very good, it is still recommended to set a few target locations so that you can see the scenery along the way and see the attractions when you get there! Recommended attractions
1/Kawaguchiko Art Museum, there is a large lawn where you can relax and take photos. The museum is not big and you can enter as needed.
2/Oishi Park has beautiful views, with a view of Mount Fuji from a distance, contrasting beautifully with the lake.
3/Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine, there is a Western restaurant nearby. The owner will play the violin outdoors in the afternoon. This cultural landscape is beautiful!
⛩It is recommended to live near Kawaguchiko JR Station, which is convenient for everything. It is really inconvenient to live far away without a car.
