【Shenzhen】Sleeping with the mountains and the sea for a night at Hyatt Regency Yantian

I’ve always thought hotel breakfasts were a waste of money, but during my recent visit to Yantian, I impulsively decided to give it a try.
Upon entering, I was greeted by an endless breakfast buffet line. While I expected the usual mix of Chinese and Western-style options, I discovered something new:
😮 Plenty of local breakfast dishes, including stir-fried rice rolls, beef brisket noodles, wonton noodles, and macaroni soup with luncheon meat and egg!
😮 Oden, accompanied by Chaozhou-style beef ball and radish soup 🤔
The biggest surprise was yet to come 😎👀—a chef pushing a cart loaded with ingredients, preparing unique breakfast items right in front of the guests 🤩. Today’s special was poached egg salsa waffle 🧇.
With swift and skillful movements, the chef placed a waffle on the plate, added two spoonfuls of salsa, then took a freshly poached egg from a tofu bucket and placed it on top of the waffle. Finally, he garnished it with four pieces of arugula.
This morning’s breakfast turned out to be an unexpected delight 👍🏻.
