Fuji-san sightseeing cruise🚢🗻

If you go to Japan and don't visit Mount Fuji, it's like you haven't even been there. Fuji is considered the symbol of Japan. When you think of Fuji, you think of Japan. When you think of Japan, you think of Fuji. 🤣

This was my first time in Japan, so naturally, I couldn't miss seeing Uncle Fuji. We went to Kawaguchiko, a very popular city where tourists flock to see Fuji. We were no exception. The day we went was very lucky because the sky was clear. We got a full view of Fuji. Even from afar, from the bus, it was beautiful. But what really wowed me was taking a boat ride to see Fuji!

My favorite activity while here was taking a boat ride around Lake Kawaguchiko and taking photos with Fuji. We got to see Fuji standing tall right in front of us. When combined with the azure blue sky and water, the cold air, and the cool breeze, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I don't know how to put it into words. I never understood why so many people loved and were so fascinated by Fuji, but now I understand. I turned to the person next to me and said, "The view in front of me was worth the money I paid." The person in front of me nodded in agreement. 🥹

To get to the boat, take the red bus to stop 9. You'll find the pier. There's a ticket booth in front of the pier where you can buy tickets and wait to board. The round trip takes about 20 minutes. The boat is a double-decker boat. If you can make it in time, head up to the second floor for a 360-degree, unobstructed view. We didn't make it that day, and the second floor was packed with Chinese sisters. At first, I was going to fight it, but I couldn't move, so I went downstairs instead, lol. The lower floor wasn't too bad. Since everyone was upstairs, the lower floor was very open. The photos came out beautiful and there were no people in them. However, you might have to choose your angle a bit because of the poles, lol.

I'd like to say that anyone visiting Kawaguchiko must try taking a boat around the lake at least once.
