Tenjin Central Park | Fukuoka

This time, we invited friends to a picnic and enjoy the cherry blossoms at Tenjin Central Park in the heart of Fukuoka. There are about 50 cherry trees lining the Yakuin Shinkawa River. From late March to early April, the trees bloom, creating a tunnel of pink blossoms. If you're lucky, you might even catch a cherry blossom festival and nighttime illuminations, adding another layer of romance.

We spread out on a shady lawn near the Meiji-era European buildings and took photos alongside the beautiful red bridge, reminiscent of a magazine cover. We also bought some snacks like sushi and strawberries to enjoy in the park. It's just a three-minute walk from Tenjin Station, a pleasant walk away. It's the perfect place to relax, draw, or chat with friends under the cherry blossoms on a sunny day. There's nothing better than a visit to Fukuoka right now!
