Take a look at Fukuoka's art-lovers' destinations.
Anyone interested in art and crafts in Fukuoka must visit the Fukuoka Art Museum. You can take the bus or train to Ohori Park Station, as the museum is located right next to Ohori Park. The admission fee is very affordable at just 200 yen for adults, but this fee is for the general exhibition. If you want to visit the rotating special exhibitions, you'll have to pay a separate fee. The highlight of the museum is the floating artwork by Yayoi Kusama, better known as Aunt Dot. This giant polka-dot pumpkin is located in the museum's garden. It's free to enter, and there's no admission fee, as it's located outside the garden next to Ohori Park. It's incredibly cute!
📍 Open 9:30-17:30 (Closed Monday)
