Fukuoka Day 3: Visiting the Suburbs (Day Trip) 🚃🌿🍜

#TravelItinerary

The third day of our trip was spent exploring the outskirts of Fukuoka! We escaped the city and enjoyed a small-town atmosphere and nature.

1️⃣ Stroll through Hita Mamedamachi 🏘️
• Mamedamachi is filled with the charm of an old Japanese town.
We took a leisurely stroll, exploring the small alleyways, souvenir shops, and traditional buildings.

2️⃣ Hita - Attack on Titan Museum 🗿
• A must-visit for Attack on Titan fans!
As the hometown of the original creator, there were various exhibitions and photo zones, allowing us to experience the local fandom atmosphere.

3️⃣ Yufuin - Kinrin Lake & Cafe Tour 🌊☕
• Stroll around the charmingly clear waters of Kinrin Lake and enjoy nature.
• A Ghibli-inspired caravan cafe, a Shiba Cafe with adorable puppies, and a local curry restaurant offering curry udon and tonkatsu curry! Yufuin was perfect for enjoying the relaxed, small-town atmosphere.

4️⃣ Return to Fukuoka & Dinner 🍜
• After a day trip, we returned to Fukuoka and finally visited the main Ichiran Ramen branch!
The exterior was magnificent, and the interior was unique, making it the perfect finale to our trip.

5️⃣ Enjoying the Nakasu River night view from our accommodation 🌌
• As we finished the day, I gazed at the sparkling night view of the Nakasu River from our accommodation.

The day, experiencing both the city and nature, tradition and modernity, left a lasting impression.

👉 Day 3 was a combination of "exploring a nearby small town + the night view of downtown Fukuoka," so it felt like a full day!

Despite our short itinerary, we were able to fully experience the charm of Fukuoka's suburbs 🌟
