Koktokay · Love Letter in Snow

Koktokay Ski Resort is located in Fuyun County, Altay Region, Xinjiang, 485 kilometers away from Urumqi and 53 kilometers away from Fuyun County. It is known as the 'World Snow Valley, China's Snow Capital', and is one of only two alpine ski resorts in the country (the other is Yabuli Ski Resort in Heilongjiang).

The altitude of Koktokay Ski Resort is 3100 meters, with a large mountain drop, and it has multiple natural snow trails, with a wild snow period of up to 5 months. It has successfully hosted competitions in freestyle skiing aerials, snowboard halfpipe, freestyle skiing halfpipe, and freestyle skiing slopestyle.

If you want to travel to Koktokay Ski Resort, you can choose to drive or charter a car. Departing from Urumqi, drive along the G30 Lianhuo Expressway to Burqin County, then drive north along National Highway 216 to Fuyun County, and finally drive east along Provincial Highway 226 to reach Koktokay Town. The whole journey is about 700 kilometers, and the driving time is about 10 hours.
