If you’re visiting Fuzhou, Wenchangli is probably the most worthwhile spot to explore.

🧭 Navigate to: “Wenchangli Zhengjue Temple Parking Lot”
From there, just follow the walking route shown in Picture 2 (not included here), and you can complete the loop in about 1–2 hours.

📍 Must-see stops:

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
Built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty
The interior is currently closed to the public, but the exterior is worth a peek
Xie Lingyun Memorial Hall
Learn about the life of this iconic landscape poet of ancient China
Cultural Square
Features a classic ancient opera stage, often hosting traditional performances
Zhengjue Ancient Temple
A charming pond in front of the main hall is filled with turtles—on sunny days, they climb onto the turtle statues to bask, making it hard to tell what's real and what's not! 🐢🌞
📚 If you’re into Chinese historical figures, also consider visiting the Wang Anshi Memorial Hall and the Tang Xianzu Memorial Hall.
