Ulsanbawi Rock Is Totally Worth It

#summervacay Ulsanbawi in Seoraksan is a beast, but in the best way possible. It starts off nice and mellow, with forest paths, cute little bridges, and even a temple along the way (shoutout to Sinheungsa for the peaceful vibes). But don’t get too comfy, 'cause once you hit the stairs... it’s game on.
We’re talkinga lot of stairs, like, legs-on-fire level, but honestly, it weirdly makes the view at the top feel even more epic. And the view? Mind-blowing. Giant granite cliffs all around, mountains rolling out in every direction, and if the weather’s clear, you can see alllll the way to the coast.
The rock itself is wild, like these huge stone slabs stacked up into the sky. Feels like nature built a fortress or something. Bring water, snacks, and your stubborn side, you’ll need it for the climb.
Tough? Yes. Totally unforgettable? Also yes. Ulsanbawi makes you work for it, but man, it pays off big time.
