Piazza De Ferrari in Genoa is basically the city’s main square and a great spot to hang out or just watch the world go by. The big fountain right in the middle is the main attraction—it’s impressive and kind of a meeting point for locals. Around the square, you’ll find some important buildings like the Palazzo Ducale and the Teatro Carlo Felice, which give the place a nice mix of history and culture.
The vibe there changes throughout the day. During the morning and afternoon, it’s lively with people grabbing coffee or sitting outside at the nearby cafés. In the evening, it cools down a bit but still feels nice to walk around, especially when the fountain is lit up.
It’s pretty easy to get there from most parts of the city, and it’s a good spot to start exploring Genoa’s old town or just relax for a bit between sightseeing.
