Mammoth Fun for the Whole Family!
We visited with a five-year-old and an eight-year-old, and this park was perfect for our mixed-age group. The high quality of the themed environments made it feel truly magical.
The Ice Age zone was a huge hit. Ice Age: Expedition Thin Ice is a charming, trackless dark ride that transports you straight into the movie with incredible animatronics and detailed sets. It was visually captivating for both kids and adults. We also spent hours in the Mammoth Fun Zone play area, which is great for letting the little ones burn energy in the cool mountain air.
We also loved the Epic realm. The Epic Voyage to Moonhaven flume ride is surprisingly well-themed with a fun, unexpected splash drop—prepare to get a little wet! The Rio zone provided classic carnival fun, especially the Blue Sky Carousel and the colorful atmosphere.
The cooler climate up in the highlands is a massive advantage; we could easily spend the entire day outside without overheating. This park gets top marks for being genuinely family-friendly with substance beyond just small spinning rides.
