🚘 There are 3 ways to get to Penang Island:
- You can drive here, but you must have a Malaysian license plate.
- Take a plane.
- Travel by train.

💵 The most economical way is the train. It costs 100 baht from Padang Besar Station. When you arrive, take a ferry across to the island. It costs only 10 baht round trip.

✨ The charm of this city is the combination of many cultures: Chinese, Thai, Muslim, Indian, and Malaysian. The buildings are very beautiful.
