Last summer, I arrived at Gili after escaping from Ubud, which had been cloudy almost every day for two weeks.
A place where carriages and bicycles run busily from early in the morning against the backdrop of the emerald sea, and tourists constantly come and go, a place where you can watch the sunset while half-leaning on a beanbag at a bar on the other side of the island. Every time I saw a turtle flapping its wings (swimming) toward the blue sea surface, my heart was filled with indescribable peace.
Going to the beach in the morning, lying on a sunbed, snorkeling endlessly to Turtle Point, swimming with sea turtles, listening to live music at the bars lined up on the beach when the sun went down and the cool breeze blew in the evening, the sound of prayer from the mosque that occasionally resonated from dawn to night. Let's meet again, Gili! Bye๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๏ธ๐ข
