Introducing Xu Zhimo Memorial Hall

The Xu Zhimo Memorial Hall, located at 97 Shangtang Road in Xiacheng District , Hangzhou, is a former student at Hangzhou Senior High School. Funded by literature enthusiasts, it is the first public cultural venue in China dedicated to Xu Zhimo and boasts a vibrant artistic atmosphere.

The memorial hall is a two-story building steeped in Republican-era style, with its striking green and red brickwork and Western-style stained-glass arches. Outside, the " 100-meter Zhimo Wall " features portraits of Xu Zhimo, Lu Xiaoman, and Lin Huiyin . Besides telling the story of Xu Zhimo's life, the wall also features his poems and essays praising Hangzhou, as well as commemorative writings by those close to him.
