[Turkey🇹🇷] World Heritage candidate! A little-known hidden gem: Kibira ruins

#tripoverseastravel

Kibyra Ancient City, located in Burdur in southwestern Turkey, is a magnificent ancient city known as the "City of Gladiators" 😌❤️It has flourished since around the 3rd century BC, and was a training ground for gladiators, especially during the Roman era 👀The stone amphitheater, colonnaded street, and vast agora (remains of a marketplace) still remain, allowing you to feel the breath of ancient times 🥰🫶The biggest attraction is the Medusa Amphitheater, with its beautiful mosaics. It is well preserved and seems as if time has stopped 💓
There are still few tourists, so it is also attractive that you can quietly face history! It is currently attracting attention as a candidate for World Heritage registration, and it is likely to become even more popular in the future! If you like traveling to Turkey, this is a hidden spot you should visit while you can 🥳
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━💬aynaa's comment━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━Kibyra Ruins, a hidden spot in Turkey that our driver recommended to us✨️The fountain and mosaic of Medusa, which are like beautiful monuments from 2,000 years ago, are a must-see! It's a bit of walking, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes🚶♀️It's a very beautiful place and there are no people, so it's one of the spots I'm glad I went to🥺❤️I'm so happy to be able to go to a spot like this because Turkey is full of tourists everywhere!
Spot information━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━📍Kibyra Ancient City 🗺Address: Horzum, 15400 Gölhisar/Burdur, Turkey
