Located on the beautiful banks of the Pearl River, the Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, along with the Literature Museum and Art Museum, is like a shining pearl, adding to the charm of Guangzhou!
The museum houses a collection of products representing Lingnan intangible culture in Guangdong Province, including lion dance, Cantonese opera, wood carving, martial arts, Cantonese embroidery, dragon boat, and Yingge dance, all of which can be appreciated up close. In the "Bay Area Unity" exhibition area, a large ivory carving made of buffalo bone and using the technique of tooth carving, presents the representative natural and cultural landscapes of 11 cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, the Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau, and the Opium War Museum in Dongguan. The exquisite ivory carving is a masterpiece that is sure to impress!
