Traveling in Guangzhou, I took photos of the rural life in the rice fields in Conghua District

The following is a guide to taking photos of lychees in the rural scenery of Nanjing Jingxiu Town:

Shooting time

• June to August every year: This is the season when lychees mature. In late June, Liuxi Guiwei and Qiangang glutinous rice cakes enter their peak maturity period. In mid-July, Wenquan bivalve locust branches mature.

Filming Locations

• Both sides of Fengxi River: Walking along the Fengxi plank road, you can take photos of the lychee trees, the stream, and the bamboo forest.
• In the orchard: You can shoot farmers picking lychees, tourists experiencing the scene, or close-up of lychees hanging on the branches.

• Near Tongxin Bridge: With the mountains and streams in the distance as the background, capture the scene of tourists on the bridge interacting with the lychee trees.
Shooting tips

• Composition techniques: You can use central composition to take close-ups to highlight the color and shape of the litchi; or use frame composition, using branches and leaves as a frame to add layers to the picture.

• Use of light and shadow: Side light or backlight in the morning or evening can make the litchi more textured and three-dimensional, and light spots can also be used to create an atmosphere.

• Human interaction: Capture the happy moments of family and friends under the lychee tree, such as picking, tasting, and playing, to add a sense of story and fun to the picture.
