It's decided! This National Day, come to Qiantang River to watch the tide

The biggest Qiantang tide of the year just happens to coincide with National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival! Plus, there's a music carnival to accompany it—this is definitely something you have to experience! The National Day holiday is long, so you can stay and enjoy it slowly. It's perfect to bring your family along!

I've been here once before! For this National Day trip, I specifically searched for many travel tips! Here's a summary to share with everyone~

Be sure to check the tide schedule in advance!! The most anticipated is the Mid-Autumn night tide, which is this year's big tide! This kind of experience is really rare to encounter in a year! This time, there’s also the Big Tide Music Carnival and Night Tide Concert, with performances every day that are super lively! At night, the sound of the tide hitting the shore becomes a natural background sound, the lights illuminate the river, the band’s singing blends with the tide sounds, sitting by the river listening to the music is truly amazing.

From October 1st to October 13th, throughout the entire National Day holiday, we have prepared an incredible music carnival for you! There are five top-level music shows every day, covering a variety of styles including neoclassical, jazz, blues, folk, electronic music, and more. The invited artists are currently the top in their fields in China. In addition, there will be a live performance by the well-known band Mojohand, a pioneering band representing the entire history of American blues. The live atmosphere is super energetic and will let you experience a unique nightlife exclusive to the ancient city.

This hotel is built on the city wall, just a 5-minute walk to the tide viewing point. The rooms are decorated in Hermes orange, very classy!! The AI air suspension mattress in the electronic music king bed room is super comfortable to lie on. There’s also an infinity pool on the top floor, a great spot for photos! Plus, staying at the Lead Singer Hotel includes free tickets to the City of Tide Music, Tide Viewing Park, and Music House Museum, saving two people over 400 yuan!! You can also try composing music in the Music House on the basement floor, which is really fun!

2️⃣ Xuande Gate Hotel:
A Song Dynasty aesthetic hotel converted from a century-old Zhu family residence, surrounded by water on three sides plus a private garden stone path perfect for strolling! We stayed in a dock room with a window overlooking the moat. In the morning, you can see rowboats slowly passing by, drinking tea and enjoying the view, very relaxing 😌. The room has an adjustable smart mattress and a large bathtub! Super enjoyable~ The restaurant is also great, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western breakfast options.

This vacation requires no rushing. Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel in the morning, explore the ancient city and watch performances in the morning, wait for the big tide in the afternoon, and soak in the music festival at night. It’s really comfortable! It’s just a 1 to 1.5-hour drive from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. For friends who haven’t made plans for National Day yet, you really should try this place!
