Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden🇯🇵

🐵Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden is a tropical botanical garden located in Hakodate, Japan. One of the highlights here is the “Monkey Hot Spring” that is open during the winter (around December to April). It is an outdoor hot spring pool with a small area. There are Japanese macaques, or snow monkeys, sitting in the hot water comfortably, showing their cheeks and red butts. Some of them will wave their hands to ask for food (you can ask the staff for pellets).

🌳In addition to the hot spring monkey bath area, this place also has a greenhouse, which is one of the largest tropical greenhouses in the region. The temperature is controlled appropriately throughout the year so that more than 3,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants can grow well even in winter.
