If you are going to see a ryokan in Hakone, you must go to the 'Hakone Yumoto' station!

In fact, there is an express train that goes directly from Shinjuku to Hakone Yumoto Station, so it is very convenient! However, if you rush to get ready in the morning, you will be hungry... .ㅠㅠ

So we studied a lot from YouTube to Google Maps, but the line at the soba restaurant we were originally going to go to was so so long, so we went to Yamasoba, which was just so-so! (Actually, we went there thinking that the soba was just so-so!)

However, for those who like Japan and are not familiar with traveling to Japan, this is a place where you can really feel the atmosphere! Actually, since it was a tourist attraction, the prices weren't that cheap (a medium draft beer was about 800 yen?...so it was about 200-300 yen higher than the Tokyo metropolitan area...my standard = the price of a medium draft beer) but the atmosphere was good and the medium draft beer was about the size of a large, so I was satisfied and waited for the food!

We ordered katsudon and regular zarusoba! The katsudon's pork cutlet was really...so plump ㅠㅠIt was really delicious ㅠㅠAfter a while, we almost ate only the pork cutlet and didn't eat much riceㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋWe were full just from the pork cutlet!

The zarusoba tasted like regular soba, but it was really delicious! (It was almost the first meal since the tsukemono I ate on the train)

So if you're traveling a long way to Hakone,
I highly recommend the draft beer and katsudon! The salty taste of katsudon is neutralized by the draft beer.. There is no other happiness..

And on the day we arrived
The weather was so so nice that I took a lot of landscape photos!
All the shops and the atmosphere of the neighborhood really felt like an old Japanese town, and it made me feel like my memories of Japan were layered on top and peaceful!

If you go to Hakone, definitely go to a convenience store and have a can of beer while walking around! It's really peaceful and makes you feel good ㅠㅠ But make sure to put your trash in the trash can! ♥️
