Azaleas and the majestic Mount Fuji! The large garden of the Yamano Hotel

We went to see the azaleas in the large garden of the Yamano Hotel. In May, the entire area is covered with a carpet of about 3,000 azaleas of 84 varieties that have been planted since the days of Baron Iwasaki's villa.
You can enjoy the contrast between Mt. Fuji and the azaleas from a spot near the entrance! By the way, there is a fee to enter the large garden of the Yamano Hotel during this season.
It is located on the shores of Lake Ashi, so the lake also looks like a nice location. The rhododendrons were also in bloom, which was also beautiful.
There is a small wisteria trellis, a church and many other things to see. The colorful and beautiful azaleas are soothing!
