🇯🇵 Hakone Art Museum Recommendations | Glass Forest Museum 🎨✨

Hakone is packed with amazing museums, and I’ve visited two must-see spots that you definitely shouldn’t miss! Since we stayed in Sengokuhara, both were within walking distance — super convenient.

🌟 Glass Forest Museum (ガラスの森美術館)
Opening Hours: 10:00–17:30 (last entry 17:00)
Closed for about 11 days starting from the day after Coming of Age Day in January; other occasional closures for exhibitions
Tickets: Adults ¥1800 / High school & university ¥1300 / Elementary & middle school ¥600
Access: From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station, then transfer to sightseeing bus (S or M route) to Hakone Glass Forest stop
Highlights:

Seasonal flowers combined with sparkling crystal glass art — feels like a dreamy fairy tale!
Collection of about 1000 Venetian glass pieces from the golden age (15th-16th century) 🏺✨

Cafe: Don’t miss the outdoor café with a beautiful terrace. The steak is highly recommended! 🥩☕️
