Idyllic Stay in Paradise

We had the most serene stay imaginable. Our Sunset Water Bungalow offered a magnificent setting to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and explore the crystal-clear water teaming with vibrant coral life right outside. The room was immaculate, and even during stormy nights, it felt enchanting to fall asleep to the sounds of the wind and ocean gently swaying the bungalow. The excursions were enjoyable, although we wouldn't suggest the shark viewing tour since they're easy to spot on your own. The restaurant served very high-quality dishes, focusing on Indian and Sri Lankan flavors, which was a delightful surprise for us. A heartfelt thanks to the bartender, the servers, and the spa team, who genuinely went above and beyond to pamper us. The resort is intimate and right-sized, not at all like the crowded Club Med experience we dreaded. Although we encountered some grouchy French travelers on our first day by the pool, we soon realized this place is centered around tranquility, natural beauty, and sheer relaxation. There were a few negatives. The diving center manager wasn't very welcoming, which slightly marred that aspect of our visit. Initially, we faced a problem with the Premium All-Inclusive upgrade. Due to a booking provider error, it didn't happen, and we later found out we weren't on the plan we thought we had booked. Lastly, the checkout process lacked clarity and warmth, which was unfortunate at the end of such a splendid stay. As experienced travelers who have visited luxury resorts globally, we can sincerely say this was paradise, appreciated at its fullest. Here, true luxury is calmness.
