DunHuang Gobi Desert!

🏜️If you’re in the North-West of China then the Gobi Desert in DunHuang is a must visit. This encompasses the famous attractions of Mingsha Mountain (Echoing Sand Mountains) and Crescent Lake Scenic Area. Buying a ticket can grant you three-day unlimited entry, with ticket prices starting at:
* Peak Season (April 20th to October 19th): 110 CNY
* Low Season (October 20th to April 19th): 55 CNY

🏞️ The crescent shaped lake is a short walk away from the entrance of the scenic area with a beautiful pagoda of the XVIII century on its bank. Don’t worry about walking through the sand as shoe covers are provided to make this easier!

🐫The attraction boasts several activities for additional costs, there is something for everyone! These include camel riding, sand sliding, desert motorcycles and helicopter tours!

🎶A particularly magical experience is the MingSha Mountain Concert which takes place on the side of the hill every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night - this is a free sing-along concert where thousands of people gather to watch the lights and drones illuminate the mountainside - it is truly breath-taking, and has the bonus of being able to watch the sunset on the horizon of the desert!
