I rarely use the word "shocking" to describe a place!!!

Last weekend, I went on a trip to Handan with good friends.

In just half a day, we were deeply shocked by this royal grotto!
There are more than 4,000 statues and over 30 caves here.

But unfortunately, many statues are incomplete; they have been seriously looted and lost overseas.

In July, looking at each statue felt like traveling through the long river of history, seeing how this grotto has endured the vicissitudes of time and now stands before me.

I suggest every Chinese person should come here to see it~

Feel the weight of history, the regret of loss, and the shock brought by these statues.

Here is a guide for a summer trip to Xiangtangshan Grottoes:
📍Address: Xiangtangshan Grottoes, Handan, Hebei (National AAAA-level Scenic Area)

🚄Transportation: Take the high-speed train to Handan High-Speed Railway Station. There is a shuttle bus directly to Xiangtangshan (departs at 8:30, return at 13:30, must be booked one day in advance). You can also rent a car to drive or take a taxi🚗

🏠Accommodation: After the night tour, you can stay directly at a guesthouse at the foot of the mountain.

🗺️Route: After entering, you can take a shuttle bus for a while, then start climbing the mountain.

📸Photo spots

✨Grottoes: There are many amazing photo angles in the grottoes.

✨Museum: The museum at the foot of the mountain offers shots of "step by step lotus."

✨Moon Gate: There is a moon-shaped gate here where you can see the scenery below the mountain.

✨Performance Show: There are also performance shows on summer nights.

👗Outfit: Light colors/Hanfu look better in photos.
