A lesser-known fall destination in Hangzhou.

Every fall, Lin'an in Hangzhou is a popular destination for fall foliage. The maple leaves and golden rice fields in Zhina Village are a sight to behold. A 2-hour drive from Hangzhou, I found a beautiful hotel in Lin'an for fall foliage viewing - Yishan Jiushe.

The hotel has nine courtyards of different styles, occupying a mountain top, hence the name Yishan Jiushe. It is only 2 km from the popular Zhina Village, but it is very quiet here. The courtyard is full of flowers, and the large infinity pool reflects the fall colors, which is very relaxing. The hotel also has a 500-year-old ginkgo tree, with golden leaves covering the ground, which is very romantic. I stayed in a detached wooden cabin in the bamboo forest, with a balcony facing the mountains and forests, and the yellow and red trees dyed the mountains in colors. Bamboo Forest Slow Talk, this is an ideal vacation spot.

For dinner, you can try the hotel's native chicken hot pot. It is said that some people drive hundreds of kilometers just for this pot of native chicken, which is fresh and delicious. The vegetables are also wild from the mountains, which are perfect for washing away the monotony of city life. The mountains are very quiet at night, making it easy to sleep deeply and relax your nerves. The hotel also provides breakfast, and after breakfast, you can go to the nearby Zhina Village.

Zhina Village is the birthplace of the concept "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." The rice on the mountains is ripe and golden, dyeing the land and distant mountains yellow. Every year, the Zhina Village Maple Leaf Festival is held here, and many people come from Hangzhou to check in. It is also convenient to hike from the hotel, and there are fewer people in the morning, making the scenery even more beautiful! The maple leaves are also beautiful in late fall.
