Lin'an Museum is located on Tianmu Road, Jincheng Street, Lin'an District, Hangzhou City, with Gongchen Mountain behind it. It is a comprehensive museum integrating artistic architecture, cultural specialties, small wetland ecology and natural scenery. It serves as both a special exhibition and research center for the culture of the Wu Yue Kingdom. It was completed and opened on January 28, 2019. The museum has 5,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics. Among them, there are 51 first-class cultural relics, 52 second-class cultural relics, and 304 third-class cultural relics. These cultural relics are well preserved in series and variety, reflecting the historical context from the Paleolithic Age to modern times.
Lin'an Museum is a solid material carrier of Lin'an's profound cultural history. It is not only a window reflecting Lin'an's historical changes and development, but also Lin'an's city living room. It will echo with the surrounding historical and cultural relics such as the Meritorious Officials Tower and the Poliu Well to create the Wu Yue Historical and Cultural Park. The visit lasts about an hour and a half.
