1. The scenic area entrance ticket is 136 RMB, not including the shuttle bus up and down the mountain. The shuttle bus costs 20 RMB for each way (up and down). It is recommended to book online in advance.
2. There is a large temperature difference between day and night in the mountains (bring a light jacket even in summer).
3. The King of Trees Scenic Area requires a 3-hour hike; wear comfortable sports shoes.
4. The vegetarian meal at Chanyuan Temple is super delicious! But it's only served from 11:00 to 13:00.
