Hangzhou / China Tea Museum

I love this museum. The China National Tea Museum is the only tea-themed museum in China. Nestled against the mountain, the museum features ten exhibition halls, all accessible through a winding path through the surrounding mountains and water.

Surrounding the museum are Longjing tea plantations, where you can wander and smell the tea's fragrance. Even the rain itself possesses its own beauty. The exhibition details the origins of tea, its characteristics, and the aroma and color of tea, all accessible through multimedia.

We are currently collaborating with the National Silk Museum on the "Tea Reflections of Beauty" exhibition series. While the exhibition is small and quick to explore, the content is incredibly fascinating. Tea culture has influenced East Asia and the world, and countless feminist efforts have played a role in this. Therefore, this exhibition seeks to showcase the unnamed women of history.

There are tea pickers, their unique tea-picking songs, and the elegant ladies of noble families, as depicted in "Dream of the Red Chamber," gently sipping tea. The entire exhibition exudes a refreshing and timeless quality, like a silent lament: "Finally, I've been remembered."
