Hanoi - Food from the Past

Culture plays a big role in the cuisine of a country, and this is also rather apparent in Vietnam.

From understanding the different ethnicity and culture from the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, to mingling with the modern locals at West Lake, Hồ Tây. I get a glimpse of why their local cuisine is as such, and what are the local favourites!

Locally fermented wines and grilled meat reminds me of the cultured past that Vietnam has. While the more popular Pho, fried food and pancake (Banh Xeo) felt like something i can relate better to!

There's so much more that this country can offer, so to those travelling in Vietnam, explore beyond the common and be prepared to be blown away!
