Tran Quoc Pagoda, Vietnam's oldest Buddhist temple, boasts a history of over 1,500 years, nestled on the banks of West Lake, offering a tranquil and beautiful atmosphere, reminiscent of a paradise in the heart of the city.
As soon as you enter the temple grounds, the first thing that strikes you is the striking 11-story, bright red pagoda towering in the center of the courtyard. Each tier houses a row of beautifully arranged white Buddha statues. Surrounded by a bodhi tree bestowed from India, the temple's sacred energy is enhanced.
Walking around the temple grounds, the air is filled with the scent of incense and the gentle chanting of monks, creating a tranquil atmosphere that feels like an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
