Stay in the clouds of Harbin! This hotel is so beautiful it doesn't seem real!

The Ritz-Carlton, Harbin is amazing!

I went to Harbin a while ago and stayed at the famous Ritz-Carlton, Harbin. The overall experience was great, so I have to share it with you!

🏨Location
The hotel is in a great location. It is located on the banks of the Songhua River, with landmark buildings such as the Songhua River, Highway Bridge, and Ferris Wheel all in view. It is also very convenient to travel, as it is very close to popular attractions such as the Music Gallery (Big Snowman⛄️), Central Street, Daoli Market, St. Sophia Cathedral💒, and Harbin Ice and Snow World. Whether you are going to play or find food, you can easily reach your destination.

🛏️Room Layout
I used a suite voucher in advance to upgrade to a Premier River View Room. The room has a great view, with a clear view of the Songhua River and Harbin Ice and Snow World. The overall style is advanced and elegant, which matches the temperament of Harbin. The space is well laid out, making it spacious and comfortable to live in.

🛌Supplies and Facilities
Although it is not a newly opened hotel, the facilities are well maintained. The hygiene is impeccable, clean, and tidy. The bedding is newly customized for 2024, and the mattress has a thick comfort layer, which is very comfortable to sleep on. There are also a variety of pillows to choose from, such as buckwheat pillows, latex pillows, and lavender pillows. The room hardware fully meets the high standards of the Ritz-Carlton, with a smart toilet and large bottles of Diptyque toiletries.

🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene
The soundproofing is also good, and it is very quiet in the room, so you can have a good rest. The hygiene is reassuring, and you can feel the cleanliness as soon as you enter the room.

🤵Service Experience
The day before check-in, a guest relations officer contacted me to confirm the check-in time and any special needs. I wanted to customize a commemorative room card, and after communicating the pattern and text content with them, the room card was already in the room when I checked in. So thoughtful! The front desk and concierge staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they helped me upgrade to a Premier Panoramic Room, which faces the Ferris Wheel🎡 at Harbin Ice and Snow World, with a beautiful view.

🍽️Dining Experience
Breakfast and afternoon tea are served in the restaurant on the 54th floor, where the signature cake is delicious. If you like chocolate flavor, you must not miss it. The afternoon tea set needs to be reserved one day in advance, so remember to plan your time.

💰Per Capita Consumption
The room rate is relatively high, reaching 6,000 yuan. The usual price will fluctuate, so you can pay more attention to the booking platform and choose to stay when the cost performance is high.

💗Other Tips

1. Friends who drive should pay attention, as the hotel elevator is not very convenient for self-driving travel. Each time you have to go from the parking lot to the first-floor lobby, then change the elevator to the 54th-floor check-in lobby, and finally change to the check-in floor. Be prepared in advance.
2. If you are sensitive to the sound of the air conditioner, you can pay attention when you check in. If there is a problem, contact room service in time, as they are quick to deal with problems.
3. The 33-story Fanglou Observation Cafe in another building of the hotel is very good. It serves coffee during the day and wine at night. I ordered two signature creative drinks, and they both tasted good. When the weather is good, you can also see the sunset, and the photos are great.

I was really impressed by the strength of the Ritz-Carlton, Harbin in all aspects. Although there are some minor flaws, the service and experience can completely make up for it. However, the dining experience in Harbin is a bit difficult to describe. The food on Central Street is expensive and unpalatable, so you can do more research and find some authentic food.
