[Heguri Town] Limited time offer until November 3rd! Get a commemorative goshuin stamp commemorating the Hanshin Tigers' victory at a temple associated with Tora

Shigisan Chogosonshiji Temple, known as the "Tiger Temple," attracts many worshippers, especially on Tiger Day, due to the legend that Prince Shotoku received blessings from Bishamonten on the day, hour, and year of the tiger. 🐯

A large papier-mΓ’chΓ© tiger (the world's luckiest tiger) is located in front of the Akamon Gate, and various stone and ceramic tiger statues of various sizes are dedicated throughout the temple. The main hall, viewed from the large tiger, is also a popular photo spot. πŸ“Έ

In honor of the tiger, fans of the professional baseball team Hanshin Tigers visit the temple to pray for victory. To celebrate the Tigers' seventh Central League championship and their first in two years, commemorative goshuin stamps have begun to be distributed. πŸ†

In fact, since their Japan Series victory two years ago, our relationship with the Tigers has deepened even further, with the sale of two types of goshuin stamp books (officially licensed products), one for home games and one for away games, and the distribution of limited edition goshuin stamps. ☺️

In March of this year, celebrating the team's 90th anniversary, an event was held on the temple grounds, where fans sang the team song, "Rokko Oroshi," with the Hanshin Tigers cheering squad to pray for victory. πŸ₯³

Perhaps those prayers were answered, as the Tigers won the championship in the fastest time in history. The goshuin stamp features the two characters "Tora-do" (tiger's path) from the team slogan, "Let your heart beat, advance the Tiger's path." ✍️

It also includes a stamp with the words "Central League Domination" and a seven-star symbol representing the team's seventh league championship. You can also choose from four team logo stamps. ✨️

While the stamp is typically given in a pre-written form, those who own or purchase a "Hanshin Tigers Goshuincho" (stamp book) will have it written directly in their book!

Goshuin stamps will be available until November 3rd. Last year, they gave out a commemorative goshuin stamp, so maybe they'll get one again if they win the championship this season... I'm not a Hanshin fan, but I'm looking forward to it! πŸ₯°

Also, in the main hall where the goshuin stamps are given out, you can tour the ordination platform, and there are many gods and Buddhas enshrined in the sub-temples and halls, so please take your time to pray! 😌 The autumn leaves are also spectacular! 🍁
