Day Trip Delight at Castle Howard

During our day excursion to York, we also explored Castle Howard. It boasts an impressive drive up to the estate, with both the building and grounds offering pleasant strolling opportunities. The peak of our visit was unquestionably the boat trip on the lake! Our guide made the experience superb with his fun and informative insights. Though his name escapes me (he was guiding on August 14th), he truly represents Castle Howard well! We skipped lunch, so I can't comment on the food, but there were a few nice shops available.
