[Oze National Park] A tranquil hiking trip soothed by marshes and alpine plants
Oze National Park in Gunma Prefecture is about an hour and 15 minute bus ride from JR Urasa Station to Okutadami Dam,
and from there you can take a sightseeing boat and a shared bus to Numayama Pass,
a hidden area rich in nature (operates only from June to October).
Walking along the boardwalks of Ozegahara,
seasonal flowers such as Asian skunk cabbage and day lilies will welcome you.
There are routes that even beginners can walk safely,
and the quiet marsh air will cleanse your soul.
When I actually visited and walked through Ozegahara, shrouded in morning mist,
it was a healing moment that made me feel as if I was one with nature.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city,
you can enjoy a luxurious time just listening to the sound of the wind and water.
If you want to go on a trip that will put you face to face with nature,
Oze is definitely recommended.
