Art Hotel Hirosaki City - Standard King Room (Breakfast)

For the first night of our 3-night, 4-day trip to Hokkaido and the northern Tohoku region, we stayed at Art Hotel Hirosaki City, located in Hirosaki. The hotel is just a 1-minute walk from JR Hirosaki Station.

It takes about an hour by limousine bus from Aomori Airport. On this day, we arrived at Sapporo's New Chitose Airport and took a domestic flight to Aomori.

This is my second time staying in Aomori Prefecture, the first being 10 years ago near the Oirase Gorge. We chose the area near Hirosaki Station as it’s a convenient starting point for our itinerary.

I’ve stayed at hotels in this chain before in Sapporo and Asahikawa, so I chose it again with confidence. This is my fourth visit to Hirosaki.

I’ve visited in spring and autumn for the cherry blossoms and autumn foliage, and I also came back for the famous Starbucks here. This time, I combined my Starbucks stamp tour with a stay at this hotel.

The Starbucks Hirosaki Tsutaya branch is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to complete my mission. I checked in around 9 PM. The room type is a Standard King Room.

The room features two single beds placed side by side in a Hollywood style. It also includes a desk, a table, and a chair where you can stretch your legs.

The view from the 10th-floor room includes distant mountains, Hirosaki Station, and other nearby hotels. The next morning, I had breakfast at the hotel. Unlike typical small-city hotels, this one has a relatively large breakfast area.

The omelets were delicious, and there were over 60 side dishes to choose from, allowing for a luxurious breakfast experience. After checking out, I also used the lounge on the first floor. Thank you.
