Founded in 1947, shortly after the end of the war, "Genso Henkutsuya" is a highly popular restaurant in Hiroshima, a hotbed of okonomiyaki. ✨
I arrived at the restaurant around 8 p.m., but there was a long line. 😳
I waited about 40 minutes before finally getting inside!
The restaurant has a retro feel, reminiscent of an old establishment, but it's also clean and lively. 😊
I ordered the restaurant's recommended soba special and the soba nikutama (meat and egg)!
It was fresh, fluffy, and delicious. 😋
Nearby, there's "Okonomiyaki Village," a building housing several okonomiyaki restaurants, so it might be fun to compare the different varieties. 🌟
